KIPP Legacy Preparatory School opened its doors to the Northeast Houston community in fall 2010. KIPP Legacy joins KIPP Voyage, KIPP Polaris, and KIPP Northeast College Prep to make up KIPP’s Northeast campus. At KIPP Legacy, we are cultivating the global leaders of tomorrow by helping our students discover their talents, gifts, and role in life. Students who attend KIPP Legacy will be empowered to leave their mark on society and create a new legacy.
KIPP Legacy serves more than 900 college-bound students from grades PreK3 through 4th grade.
Our student body is 50% African American and 48% Hispanic.
Our faculty is comprised of 70 diverse educators who provide a rigorous college-preparatory education with an emphasis on literacy, technology, and global thinking.
KIPP Legacy helps students develop their non-academic talents by providing other extra-curricular activities including computer, art, Spanish, science, gardening, cooking, PE, and dance.
