Refer a Friend

We’re looking for talented, dedicated teachers to join our Team and Family. If you know someone who may be a great fit for KIPP Houston Public Schools, you could earn $1,000 for referring him or her (if he or she is hired)! Please read the rules and complete the form below.

Here’s how it works:

• Please check with the person you would like to refer, and make sure that he/she is interested in KIPP Houston.
• Complete the form below to submit your referral.
• If the person you refer is hired to work at KIPP Houston Public Schools, you will receive a $1,000 stipend (or gift card for non-employees) in September 2013.

If you are an employee, you are only eligible for the bonus if the following criteria are met:

• Your referral is hired.
• The referral is completed through this website before the new hire begins his/her employment.
• You are not a School Leader, HOS, DHOS, or member of the HR/recruitment team.
• Your referral is still employed during the first two weeks of the 2013-14 school year.
• Your referral’s name has not already been submitted. If the form below tells you that the person’s e-mail address is a duplicate, the person has already been referred.

If you are not an employee, you are only eligible for the bonus if the following criteria are met:

• Your referral is hired.
• Your referral is submitted online prior to the new hire accepting an offer. 
• Your referral is still employed at KIPP Houston Public Schools during the first two weeks of the 2013-14 school year.
• The e-mail and mailing address provided below is accurate as of August 11, 2013.
• Your referral’s name has not already been submitted. If the form below tells you that the person’s e-mail address is a duplicate, the person has already been referred.

In order to receive the referral gift card, your referral must be put into our online system prior to the new hire's start date. Any referrals not typed into the system will not receive the referral fee.
