Who should apply?

We are looking for people with a passion for education and a call to serve students from underserved communities. Candidates must meet the following requirements in order to apply:

  • Hold a four-year degree from an accredited university with a minimum 2.75 GPA by June 2017
  • Meet the following credit hour requirements (certification-seeking candidates only):
    • Elementary and middle school candidates: At least three university credit hours in each of the following areas: math, English, science, and social studies
    • High school math candidates: At least 15 university credit hours in math (i.e. calculus, algebra, statistics, etc. finance and engineering classes do not apply)
    • High school English candidates: At least 12 university credit hours in English or writing classes
    • High school science candidates: At least 15 university credit hours in core science classes
    • High school social studies candidates: At least 12 university credit hours in core social studies classes (history, government, economics, etc.)
