Vision

At Legacy, we are cultivating the global leaders of tomorrow, helping our students begin to discover their talents, gifts and role in life. Students who attend KIPP Legacy Preparatory School will be empowered to leave their mark on society and create a new legacy.

Academics

Our students will engage in robust curricula with an emphasis on: conceptual thinking, problem solving, hands-on learning, and cultural and Spanish language studies. We believe it is essential that our students attain the academic and character skills necessary to fully participate as global citizens.

Special Program Features

  • Focus on multicultural education and global study
  • Spanish classes beginning in kindergarten
  • Cultural music and art classes

Culture

At KIPP Legacy, we believe in building strong character within all of our students. We have four school values that form the basis of our character education.

School Values

  • PERSIST – Never give up
  • ACHIEVE – Work hard to reach your goals
  • TEAM – Care for those around us
  • HONOR – Maintain the highest moral character and live a principled life

Further we will cultivate in our students twelve competencies, or 21st Century skills, needed to develop as global leaders; Thinkers, Risk-takers, Acquired Knowledge, Inquirers, Life-long Learners, Balanced, Lives a Principled Life, Able to be Open-Minded, Zestful, Expressive Communicators, Reflective, Sincere and Caring, and thus our students are known as the "TRAILBLAZERS."
