Culture
Mission
At KIPP Intrepid, we prepare our students with the academic skills, intellectual habits, and qualities of character necessary to succeed educationally and personally for the rest of their lives.
Values
Our school values are academics and character. We define academics as the knowledge that our students gain during their time with us and character as what type of people they are and what type of people they are becoming. We rely on eight character strengths to help us teach our students what they are working toward:
- Grit
- Zest
- Social Intelligence
- Self Control
- Hope
- Love
- Gratitude
- Humor
Scientists that we admire have found that successful people all over the world have these 8 strengths, and we want our children to be as successful as possible, which is why we value more than just academics.
