Salary

KIPP schools offer a competitive salary, including extra pay for the extended time commitment. In addition, most employees are eligible for spot bonuses at the discretion of the school and based upon the organization's performance and individual achievements.

Paid Time Off

All full-time employees receive 10 personal days (5 State Days/5 Local Days) to use for illness and personal business. 12-month (year round) employees also receive vacation time. School based employees follow the school schedule (Primary School, Middle School, High School, High School 12th grade); 12-month employees work year round, enjoying federal holidays and extra days off at Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Spring Break.

Retirement

All full time KIPP employees are members of TRS (Teacher Retirement System of Texas). To supplement a TRS retirement, each employee may open 403(b), Roth 403(b), or 457 account(s) and make contributions through a payroll deduction.
